<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This sounds like a JAG questionMSG Private RallyPoint MemberTue, 27 Aug 2019 18:18:57 -04002019-08-27T18:18:57-04:00Response by PO1 Rick Serviss made Aug 27 at 2019 6:37 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It depends on who it's disclosed to at your new command. Your new commander has a valid need to know the kind of person they are getting.PO1 Rick ServissTue, 27 Aug 2019 18:37:10 -04002019-08-27T18:37:10-04:00Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 27 at 2019 8:28 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your old command can't go ahead and share that. However, if it's requested as part of an investigation, the request is sent directly to iperms. This would be similar to your previous command forwarding your previous NCOER, which is unauthorized as well under the same regulationSFC Private RallyPoint MemberTue, 27 Aug 2019 20:28:41 -04002019-08-27T20:28:41-04:00Response by SGT Javier Silva made Aug 27 at 2019 9:32 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No. An item in your restricted fiche of your OMPF is not allowed to be shared by anyone, unless it is requested as part of an investigation. As <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="148812" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/148812-79s-career-counselor-usaraf-hq-usaraf-setaf">SFC Private RallyPoint Member</a> said, that request must be sent directly to the personnel who handle iPERMS and OMPF - Army HRC.SGT Javier SilvaTue, 27 Aug 2019 21:32:19 -04002019-08-27T21:32:19-04:00Response by MSG Gary Eckert made Aug 28 at 2019 9:48 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If the JAG gave you homework there is more to this story then you telling. While the actual Article 15 may be restricted the underlying misconduct may not. For example, if your Commander wanted to separate you based on the misconduct and it was determined you would receive a rehabilitative transfer, prior to being discharged, it would be reasonable to notify the gaining Commander about the misconduct so he can determine whether you have overcome the deficiency.MSG Gary EckertWed, 28 Aug 2019 09:48:37 -04002019-08-28T09:48:37-04:002019-08-27T17:58:47-04:00
