The service owns you. 2. HRC directs who, what, when and where. 3. We are in the middle of a pandemic, 1K's of troops have been stuck where ever they were at with PCS orders in hand around the world. Families are still living in hotels, cause their household goods were already shipped to the states. Everything has slowed down/jammed/jacked up. I know your time will comes and they will have orders with a report date. Good Grief You have been waiting how long-30-45 days. All you can do is call branch to see if they have anything. Strongly suggest that if you are now an Officer, you change your Rally Point info to reflect. Received scroll back last week November 2018. Signed paperwork December 2018. Orders were not cut by HRC until end of April 2019. This was for reserves. Also no pandemic then. Have patience. Will you be attending BOLC first (sometimes physician skip certain required trainings)? The recruiter that commissioned me provided all of this information for me. I was commissioned in June and did not leave until September. Depending the school cycle, you will likely not ship until after the new year. Answer some of these questions for me. I was boarded for direct commission March 2007, notified of results, June 2007, then got orders January 2008. I am certain, any document required for your diligence was a rush need. The “Hurry up and wait” is part of your training to become a Soldier. Best suggestion is another part of your training to “Suck it up and drive on”. You will hear this again several times once in throughout your career. Wish you the best and “Embrace the Suck”.
