If so, request a option 40 17C contract and don’t sign anything no matter what the recruiter tells you until you see it on your contract. They haven’t opened up any schools to 17C. When I asked about it I was told it would be 2-3 years until we were allowed to go to any schools but that could change soon. On the Ranger school website you can even find a copy of the exception memo that allows non combat MOS to attend.
