I spent 6 years in the Navy then left and went to a PAC-12 school and graduated with a Finance degree with a 3.5gpa. I received my bachelors when I was 31. Now I am 33 and want to do Army ROTC. Can I go get a MBA and enter Army ROTC?

Yes you can and it will actually be to your advantage. My buddy started rotc as a MS3 and did his MS3, MS4 year while doing his masters.

My school says I cannot. ROTC classes are undergraduate.

This is what I'm doing right now. It is possible, and you should contact the ROTC ROO (Recruiting and Operations Officer) at the university that you wish to study. Hopefully, the ROTC BN is located on campus. The ROO should be able to provide you with the up-to-date policy re: age and commissioning active vs. reserve components. I'm not current with those standards.

To reiterate, regarding your question on pursuing ROTC and a Master's degree, the answer is yes.

I believe you can. I know of a few who have done that. Obtaining the commission was dependent on completing the degree. Policy changes monthly in the Army so I would call your local ROTC to confirm.

I am not sure what the cut off is now for age. In most cases they will subtract your years of Active Duty from you. As I stated, these things change monthly just about. I haven't seen any papers on this to know for sure.

PO2 Lars Nielson - I did, but that was for direct commission back in 2002. Regulation was 30 at time of commission and I was 35. Age waiver was too easy.
