Can I be a doordash delivery driver while also collecting the housing money from the GI Bill?

You can do anything you want for a job while you're a civilian. Your BAH is only paid at a prorated portion for the time you're in school. Your BAH is paid off of your class load and the days of the month you're in class. What you do for side money has no effect on that

Your housing money from the GI Bill has nothing to do with the type of job you hold. It has to do with the number of classes you are taking. As long as you remain a full-time student, your housing stipend isn't affected. If you become a half-time, or less, student, you may lose your housing benefits for that period of time.

Your working while collecting BAH from your GI Bill are two separate issues. I was in school collecting BAH from my GI Bill while working as Business Coordinator with the Bank of America on the work-study program and the VA encouraged me to do so in light of my upcoming transition to corporate life. You can have a word with the VA, but it can complicate matters for you. Think through your options and then, choose the decision best for you.

Yes you can. I went to school full time while working full time. Collected my housing stipend and a paycheck from work.

The only thing you cant do i think is student work programs at your university or college. At least that’s what I’ve been told here

Absolutely! $$ from the GI Bill is tax free. You can work a full time civilian job and use the GI Bill at the same time.
