The 31 MOS career field is rather small and has more requirements than a lot of MOSes. I would say one ding would be no problem but the second one will be a problem. You also need to be able to get a Secret Security Clearance. If you can't get the clearance you're dead in the water. When I was at MEPS, I was told that if I received an more tickets (only had one) my contract with be null. If you try for that one, you have to be lucky for an opening when you're reenlisting. 31K is easier for initial term Soldiers because they can just DEP to get a slot. Talk to your reenlistment NCO and BN/BDE Career Counselor. Relatively minor offenses and military service are in your favor. Occasionally the SJA will assist you with this.
