Can I be chaptered if the BC did not mention it during my Field Grade Article 15 (and while I'm in my RCP window)?

Short answer Yes, two different administrative actions, two different counseling/ notifications requirements.

It really depends on what the article 15 was for. A field grade usually does open up the option for chapter. The fact that you are a hop skip and a jump away from RCP doesn't mean anything. If they initiate a bar and chapter proceedings, then you can plan on being chaptered without the severance benefits that come with RCP.

To add on to what SGT Joseph Gunderson stated. One is Punitive and the other is administrative, both can be done. If you are being recommended for a FG 15, they will work at that first and depending the situation, CoC can also recommend a Chapter, depending on severity. All of this involves Legal Services. Do you understand? Don't count on being so close to your RCP to get you out of the ART. 15.

Do your research brother, look up AR's and continue to seek information from others. Use this opportunity to network with subject matter experts in different areas. You are only prepared as much as you want to be. Don't just count on legal to take care of everything. Keep it up

Yes. But there are administrative ways that you can fight an administrative discharge , depending on rank and whether the discharge would be an OTH, General under honorable, or a Honorable. You need to be at your JAG office for better and more up to date advice , with your copy of your SRB, or your 201 file.
