<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Once you become an Officer, you no longer have an MOS. You have an AOC (Area of Concentration). And when you commission, you will probably get branched into a whole different field.MSG Private RallyPoint MemberFri, 14 May 2021 15:47:10 -04002021-05-14T15:47:10-04:00Response by CPT Andrew Wright made May 14 at 2021 7:32 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>National Guard and USAR OCS Branches are usually glued to the type of unit you are assigned to. If you go OCS thru the Regular Army Recruiters (OCS Enlistment Option) you are assigned an active duty branch based on needs of the Army. It used to go something like out of 100 candidates, 60 of them will go to Infantry, Armor, and Artillery, 30 would go to Logistics (QM, Ordnance, Transportation, etc) branches. 10 might get Military Intelligence, and the other ten lower density jobs (Medical Service, Chemical) and maybe one of those 100 got Finance. Best of Luck.CPT Andrew WrightFri, 14 May 2021 19:32:25 -04002021-05-14T19:32:25-04:00Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 4 at 2023 3:51 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you got to OCS they will tell you what branch / MOS you will have. In the Guard and reserve you have much more control over it than you would in the Regular Army.LTC Private RallyPoint MemberSat, 04 Feb 2023 15:51:18 -05002023-02-04T15:51:18-05:002021-05-14T15:35:36-04:00
