Can I change my MOS with the right amount of cross training? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-i-change-my-mos-with-the-right-amount-of-cross-training <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hey everyone! Since I joined the Army and arrived at my first unit I have been cross trained as a 15E (unmanned aerial vehicle maintainer), but I&#39;m a 15G (aircraft structural repairer). So for the past 5 years I have worked under this MOS and even became a unit trainer teaching new soldiers how to do their job. I enjoy this MOS but am having a hard time voluntarily reclassing towards it. I was wondering if there was any documentation or regulations that govern cross training and what requirements need to be met to claim a secondary MOS or even just switch my primary MOS from 15G to 15E. Any help towards the right direction would be greatly appriciated! Only the proponent can waive MOS requirements like school. If he gives you an acceptance memo, you take that to the Career Counselor who will request a Reclass without training. HRC will make the decision, based on the strengths of the MOSs, if they will allow you to reclass. They awarded him 11B as a secondary MOS. Then all he did was a 4187 to switch his primary and secondary MOS. But he still had an official Army school that he had to attend. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 10 Dec 2018 08:46:21 -0500 2018-12-10T08:46:21-05:00 Response by MAJ Byron Oyler made Dec 10 at 2018 3:50 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-i-change-my-mos-with-the-right-amount-of-cross-training?n=4197717&urlhash=4197717 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Active duty or reserves/NG?
