I originally signed up for 5 more years but now would like to change it to 6. The paperwork has already been sent up to my command and they told me to come back in a week to sign and reenlist. Will I be able to change how I long reenlist for? Or will they have to start the paper work all over and send it up to my command again etc? How important is that one year? Are you getting an SRB, if so then one year could be big for the bank. If you are not getting an SRB does reenlisting for 5 years as apposed to 6 really matter that much?
