<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I currently have a bachelor's degree and I've already enlisted as of ten days after my undergrad was completed. I'm currently pursuing a master's degree, which just got extended by one year from now. In addition, my Advanced Camp has been deferred to next summer due to medical. Am I able to commission as soon as I complete Advanced in spite of not completing my master's? If so, how does that work, exactly?Fri, 12 Apr 2019 00:46:22 -0400Can I commission through ROTC despite not completing my master's program?

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The focus should be on your medical readiness and not on an advanced degree. You may be in a deferred status up till an advance camp date is available and your medical status improves.LTC Private RallyPoint MemberFri, 12 Apr 2019 05:59:37 -04002019-04-12T05:59:37-04:00Response by MAJ Javier Rivera made Apr 12 at 2019 6:14 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You do not need a masters degree to Commission. Check with your ROTC advisor, but you should be qualified to commission as soon as you complete Advanced Camp.CPT Lawrence CableFri, 12 Apr 2019 07:36:09 -04002019-04-12T07:36:09-04:00Response by LTC John Griscom made Apr 12 at 2019 7:43 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Some key items; your health; completing Advanced Camp and the ROTC program. The Master's degree is not an issue for the commissioning if the others are taken care of.LTC John GriscomFri, 12 Apr 2019 07:43:41 -04002019-04-12T07:43:41-04:00Response by SGM Jeff Mccloud made Apr 12 at 2019 8:10 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>MS degree is not required. <br />Completion of a BS/BA, and two years of ROTC while enrolled full-time in any kind of college courses with the minimum GPA, and completion of advanced camp are the requirements.<br />You already have one of those done.SGM Jeff MccloudFri, 12 Apr 2019 08:10:45 -04002019-04-12T08:10:45-04:00Response by CPT Brad Wilson made Apr 12 at 2019 9:06 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You should be able to if your medical condition is fixed At my Advanced Camp I believe there were 8 or 9 Cadets that were commissioned they had their commissioning ceremony right after the graduation ceremonyCPT Brad WilsonFri, 12 Apr 2019 09:06:54 -04002019-04-12T09:06:54-04:00Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 15 at 2019 12:54 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>All you need is a bachelor's degree to commission. Also keep in mind you also have certain requirements to complete before you can commission which include being an ms3 and ms4. You have to complete the advanced classes for ROTC.1LT Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 15 Apr 2019 00:54:12 -04002019-04-15T00:54:12-04:002019-04-12T00:46:22-04:00
