SGT Private RallyPoint Member 3536010 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I honestly just signed up on this website because I am really needing an answer. I PCSd last month (March 2018), and did not receive my PCS Award nor did not get any recognition that I&#39;m leaving the unit (I digress on that topic). The Form 638 was submitted 5 times prior my PCS date and from what I heard from my squad leader it was already approved. However, upon checking my ERB and PPW today (4/11), nowhere I can find this award. I haven&#39;t received my AGCM neither but it&#39;s on my ERB/PPW so I don&#39;t care to receive the hard copy. So what do I do in this situation? I honestly don&#39;t want to contact my previous unit because they&#39;re a POS who don&#39;t track of paper works or anything unless it&#39;s a bad thing. Can I email my battalion or brigade commander in regard to my PCS award? 2018-04-12T00:05:03-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 3536010 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I honestly just signed up on this website because I am really needing an answer. If you were recommended for a PCS award they should at least give you an answer that it wasn&#39;t approved or is still being worked. There are a lot of moving parts on this and all it takes is for someone not to do their job. I wish you luck. I have had three PCS movements with no recognition and received awards while in the unit only to leave with nothing. the most you can do is to contact someone at your old Unit and see if they can follow up on it. Good Luck. First I would suggest contacting the old S-1 as to the status. Regardless of what they say, then contact your old BN CSM. Contact the S1 first to pass the information on to the CSM, because the first thing he will do is check S1 and this shows you&#39;ve done your diligence in following up. The reason to contact your BN CSM is soldier development is his priority. The Brigade CSM will just refer it down to the BN CSM, and your old 1SG lacks the authority to walk into the S1 and make them fix an error on the spot. If they say it was approved ask them to email you a copy. If you don&#39;t get it, I&#39;d email the S1 OIC or NCOIC and ask them for the copy of the PCS award. As for the AGCM go the same route. Just because it&#39;s on your ERB doesn&#39;t mean you&#39;re good. Especially when it comes to competing for the SFC list, you want to have all your awards even down to COA&#39;s uploaded into your iPerms. Sometimes the unit gets so busy with the mission they forget the basics. Or it could be someone that just doesn’t like you and wants to screw you, so call them on it. It happens, people are petty. Just keep blowing them up if its at brigade give it time. As far as your good conduct medal get with your s1 and have them write you a memorandum. Makr sure it is uploaded into your iperms. Just having it on your erb means nothing without backing evidence. Hope this helps.
