I still have some time to go before i can do it but I was wondering if it was an option as I&#39;ve hear of people being here for 6 years so im just curious Can I extend or reenlist to stay in Germany? 2019-02-03T04:10:40-05:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 4337851 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am currently in Germany and I was wondering if I where to want and stay here is it possible to expend my time here or reenlisting for germany again? However, that must be accomplished prior to 6 months before your DEROS because that is when your branch must place you on assignment. They may place you on assignment earlier, but since you&#39;re a first term soldier, they will not. If you are on assignment instructions, you may not reenlist to stay. Although, there is something called a first term statement that will allow you to have those orders deleted - but only if you need to reenlist to take those orders.
