I am scheduled to report to benning in April 2019. Is there anything I can do to get in this deployment? Can I get my orders changed to stay with a unit that is deploying? 2018-12-11T03:53:19-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 4198857 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I recently re-enlisted for fort benning in August and today got word my current unit is deploying in October 2019. Usually 90-120 days out from deploying a unit is fenced for outbounds, allowing only inbounds to fill shortages. I would go to your chain of command and make your preference known and have them work with the retention folks to see if that is changeable. Understand you&#39;ll essentially forfeit anything you got in the deal.
