Prior service Marine here, got out and decided to do Army Reserve and nothing against them but I just feel out of place. Is it too late to turn back or is it possible to do a service transfer back? Can I go back to the Marine Corps after I have already enlisted in the Army Reserve?2019-10-21T10:26:31-04:00SPC Onel Cruz5150820<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes, I am very bad at decision making. You might be able to do an interservice transfer.Response by CW5 Jack Cardwell made Oct 21 at 2019 10:30 AM2019-10-21T10:30:03-04:002019-10-21T10:30:03-04:00SFC Michael Hasbun5150856<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Two steps:<br />1) Talk to a Marine Recruiter, the Marines need to have a boat space for you to fill.<br />2) Talk to your current Commander. If the Reserves aren't willing to release you, the whole thing is moot. The Marines Can't "steal" you from the Army Reserve, they have to let you go voluntarily. <br /><br />For expectation management, bear in mind the reserves are under strength. Also, check the in/out calls for your CMF, but that's somewhat tangential.Response by SFC Michael Hasbun made Oct 21 at 2019 10:36 AM2019-10-21T10:36:33-04:002019-10-21T10:36:33-04:00CPL Gary Pifer5152993<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Don't worry it will pass...
