Can I go ROTC as graduate student?

I got a bachelor but wanna pursue a master once i know what I want - is there ROTC for that? And I have to start immediately since both are 2 years?

Great question. As one who was commissioned through ROTC, I would have to say no. Also as a current graduate student, I would think that (even if it existed)your program would be to academically rigorous to be able to do both. That being said, I think the most straightforward path for you would be direct commissioning (legal/medical), or through enlisting and eventually being selected for OCS. Whatever the case, I wish you luck. The armed forces will always need smart and capable leaders.

Yes, you can. But there are additional caveats. Talk to the ROTC unit at the school.

Yes, I have two grad students a Dartmouth ROTC now, but doing just two years of a four year program necessitates more Work than for a traditional student.
Talk to the cadre for your specific program.

I'd be interested in knowing more, I'd read one can, as was !mentioned here, I was Army ROTC as undergrad, though I went USAF OTS after instead...what undergrad major? What GPA thus far if you'd care to say? Which svcs? Would you want ROTC or maybe to try to an OCSmor OIS (indoc program for direct commission fields) after? Are you a scie CE !major at all? Clinical field? I only ask as there are things I might suggest, it'd just help to kmow more, that:s my onoy reason for asking, I'd hoped someone would eventually ask that, very apt question, obvioisly.....

From my experience, yes. If you don't have prior military experience, they will send you to Basic Camp (not to be confused with basic combat training), and the following summer, Advanced Camp. You'd basically be on an accelerated ROTC program

Yes, I am currently working on my master's and doing ROTC, but am taking 3 years to complete it. Talk to the cadre at your University to figure out your options. You can probably enter as a lateral entry cadet since you have prior experience. Thus you'd come in as an MS3 instead of a MS1 or MS2.

yes you can start ROTC with a bachelor's. I know several cadets that were getting their masters.

I know you have to be full time just get the rotc scholarship. I know someone that finished all his classes besides one because it was only offer in the fall. he took three credit hours but he was also a completion cadet which means he finished his ms 4 year and completed advance camp. I would say you would have to be full time because you have to fill out a 104R and some cadre members will only accept it in the required amount of time to get your degree. you will have to see with your ROTC program because every commander is different.

Yes you can...as far as I know at least for the Air Force you can...go talk to all the ROTC officers (Army/Navy/Air Force) at a school and they can fill you in.
