The school is American Military University so I will not have to bring any books due to course material provided. Can I go to night school while attending ALC? 2019-04-13T08:06:53-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 4540252

I am going to ALC at a NG post and would like to attend an online college would I be able to have enough time to take my classes at night? ALC is a major milestone and you should focus strictly on it, especially if you had a technical MOS such as 91 series. Focus on doing well in ALC. If you return to your unit with "Exceeded Course Standards" marked on your 1059, it will forever speak for you. If you return with a marginal or a met course standards, that won't do much for your career when you have to compete at the E8 and E9 level. I took time away from my college studies, and your professor/institution will understand. Especially an MOS school or NOCES. The reason is that if (when) your perforance suffers and it affects your military school, the effect can be career changing or ending for you.
Put your all into you NCOES and get the commandant list or honor grad. I made it and so can you. I made some sacrifices for this.
ILE was 5 weeks. ALC is a lot longer. This is where you have to figure it out if time allows you to be successful at both.
