Can I join the military if I have spherocytosis anemia?

Sorry but anemia is a disqualifier for military service.

I think it may be an issue for you but that is up to the professionals and medical providers at MEPS to decide.

I was diagnosed with two conditions on the list prior to enlistment (and still got a contract). Even tested for anemia during basic - I was prescribed iron pills and continued training.
It will come down to the doctor reviewing your medical conditions and you can always have your recruiter request a waiver if the doctor thinks your condition doesn't meet fitness standards.
