SPC Lucas Thogode 5524937 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>For context I wasn’t a random shit bag. I was 4 years in a year of which was a reenlistment. I went through some heavy depression due to personal reasons after a deployment and gained quite some weight which led to a PT failure discharge. This hurt my pride but I’m out of the depression hole and want to get back on the horse. After getting back to PT stud status what are my chances of getting into the Texas guard? I’ve only ever had one article (company grade) and I received a RE3, JFT sep code, and a general under Honorable conditions. Can I join the national guard after active duty discharge with a RE3 code and a JFT sep code? 2020-02-05T22:33:34-05:00 SPC Lucas Thogode 5524937 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>For context I wasn’t a random shit bag. Took me quite some time to find a recruiter willing to fight to get me back in, but I&#39;m back now via the MO Air Guard. Your path sounds easier than mine was, as it should be evident that you are not a PT failure anymore :)<br />Find a good recruiter, be upfront and honest, and be ready/willing to wait and fight. If this is what you want, show/prove to them that it is worth your time and energy, and they&#39;ll put their&#39;s in for you.<br /><br />Good luck!!
