Heres the situation, unfortunately, I will need to go into surgery on my foot soon. Between breaking it and having bunions from wearing rockys for so many years I have to go into surgery. My podiatrist made me aware that I may not come back to the trail Can I keep my drill badge after a medical removal? 2019-09-10T11:35:44-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 5010402 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I&#39;ve looked into the 614-200 and either im reading it wrong or its unclear. You earned the badge when you graduated the academy. As long as you weren&#39;t removed for cause, the pumpkin is yours. It&#39;s a Drill Sergeant Badge. And like both 1SG&#39;s said, you keep it. You earned it. And I know it wasn&#39;t easy. As long as you are not removed thru disciplinary reasons and performed your duties honorably, you can keep it on. And, you had to have pushed Trainees at least once. Secondly you earned the badge when you completed the USADSS. Unless you were removed for misconduct the badge is yours to keep Response by SSG Dennis O'Connor made Sep 15 at 2019 12:23 PM 2019-09-15T12:23:58-04:00 2019-09-15T12:23:58-04:00 2019-09-10T11:35:44-04:00
