I&#39;ve been hearing different things, hopefully I can get some clarification. Is it true that if I have my promotable status prior to attending class, it will be dropped or prevent me from attending class. Or can I keep my promotable status then get promoted when I get MOS qualified? Do you want an MSN and to go for NP? If so, I&#39;ll give you a couple of thoughts...elaborate, of you can, OK? Associates? Bachelors? Masters or grad level coursework yet? Would you want PA at all? I realize you&#39;re wanting to redlass, I get that, I merely thought to suggest some things that I thought might be of interest, that&#39;s all, honest, OK? I&#39;m just curious, what draws you away from dental toward LPM or RN? It&#39;d help suggest things if you could elaborate on what you&#39;ve done thus far on your own, even if onoy part time, do a detailed bio sketch, trading, hobbies, interests...do you want senior enlisted? Warrant? Commissioned? If I can suggest things, just ask, !meanwhile, look at what I&#39;ll try to send, call those groups I&#39;ll suggest, OK? Elaborate, I&#39;d be interested to hear Kore, honest, no rush, whenever convenient, OK? You have to look at the Reclassification IN/OUT calls for 68C, this will tell you the requirements. For example, I am reclassing to 25N and for the IN/OUT calls for this MOS they are only accepting non promotable E4&#39;s so I had to drop my (P) status. That was a risk I was willing to accept because 1. I already signed my reenlistment contract and the retention NCO was unaware of the IN/OUT calls and 2. If your school allows it you can go to the board there and get it back or at your next station, which is an easy fix. Here is the link for the most recent IN/OUT calls <a target="_blank" href="http://www.armyreenlistment.com/Messages/MILPER/In_Out_Calls_18_026_20180119.pdf">http://www.armyreenlistment.com/Messages/MILPER/In_Out_Calls_18_026_20180119.pdf</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="http://www.armyreenlistment.com/Messages/MILPER/In_Out_Calls_18_026_20180119.pdf">In_Out_Calls_18_026_20180119.pdf</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description">TPÍÇ+$)Q|Îbz:»(&#39;ÚW2óÒE·5èÄÃ&#39;ØLNtTàØe@?/lAtÆÝ=ø{õÄÚâÛ- grÄ45a-fRqx*pYpHEíQÑ1ØØ+óåÿGéhñcÒ -·ÏÍÎjuÅpÙÌMÉæ/Û4¿åǵéH[t1ûùÝ3ê@í É1Kìqp*«a CsèxCÖèð d¿~5m~Ø_äÎÓow/f=r9ÛW¿(\|Bº]ú5G/!jøÕÏðã ãpkS&quot;»uhJúùæé@óömþW ÝLò endstream endobj 51 0 obj stream HV»0íùêHãõÛ !)RRdþ_ï_6)`_ûÎ9öòÜkFëzÛ/»ÖÆ~Y»k«a^~t¶»8ãbÀÚ!,hùÈ.Ërz|[nôÀJä&quot;Õñ4ðw]Á&amp;õÛ^3ïy üdoøÆçRK@|/9ct@yf&amp;Þ=¡WöóB4í`Ã[Å4çã0]!rR¡ C,§jáQ8$Ä1§Ê-ïÀͪkë ÅO+Ý82ËuÂA_CóInÏÊIVAÏs2njEÂdV§nà&#39;AAMl?&amp;üíáµâ:Ùùl6sØÃr&quot;i«@OWïP...</p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> SGT Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 11 Apr 2018 12:34:27 -0400 2018-04-11T12:34:27-04:00 Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 13 at 2018 11:35 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-i-keep-my-promotable-status-when-reclassifying-to-68c?n=3540060&urlhash=3540060 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was going through this same situation bro I just chose to not be promotable for a class slot SGT Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 13 Apr 2018 11:35:01 -0400 2018-04-13T11:35:01-04:00 Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made May 17 at 2018 9:56 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-i-keep-my-promotable-status-when-reclassifying-to-68c?n=3637574&urlhash=3637574 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Depends on the requirements of the army at the time you went with that decision, if they didn’t want E5s at the time chances are no. But good news either way, they want E5 68C so getting a p status back is pretty easy - please tell all your class mates they will find out where there going all together. You’re answer will be there. When I reclassed from 68W to 68N it was only open to non promotable SPC’s. Had I known to look at the ATTRS for the course I would have seen only 68W’s with their P were permitted in the course.
