Can I PCS accompanied without re-enlisting or extending?

Can I PCS accompanied without re-enlisting or extending? My initial contract is 5 years. I have been told by branch that I cannot PCS until i have 3 years on station and that I must have enough time remaining to complete an accompanied assignment (3 years). Obviously my 5 year contract won’t suffice this. I know Korea is an exception

It's going to be tough I have SGT in the same predicament and what they told him was he will need to extend if he wants to PCS accompanied.

Thermos no way around it. The military will not pay for a full cost move without the ability to complete a tour. Thank you for your service.

It depends on where you’re going. When will you have 3yrs on station? If you’re going overseas then you’ll have to re-enlist or extend, however if you’re going stateside and you have 12 months remaining based upon report date then you don’t have to do either or.

NO- only Korea quals occasional as a 2 yr accompanied tour- even then you have to add, time to PCS back for ETS. I don't see it happening, unless you extend/re-enlist
