Every command is different; why not wait until you are promoted in front of your company.
Honestly, you will have plenty of time to wear your rank. It's exciting to become an NCO finally; however, reach out to your company first line leader and ask them.
Congratulations on the promotion keep up the enthusiasm and drive. Don't forget where you came from and continue to mentor and shape the lower enlisted.

Yes you get to keep your rank and promotable status during a MAR2. HRC will change your MOS immediately upon their decision and give you an ASI of 4A, 4A means not qualified in your new MOS. As per 600-8-19 you'll remain promotable and keep your new promotion as long as you pass your new MOS training within a year.

The thing is the mos is my current mos. so I’m good to keep the tank even if I don’t go to AIT for the new mos they gave me? Cause Idk what mos they’ll give me yet, or if I’ll decide to re-enlist for whatever job they give me. But made the list for November with the job ive been on.

SGT (Join to see) you will keep the rank you are given on the first because your reclass decision has not been made. On the 1st, which is Sunday, you will still be a 13B. On the 2nd or whichever day you will be whatever MOS you've been given. You don't necessarily have to reenlist to take the training. If the Army decides you have enough time you can still be sent to training.
To be very clear, you will have a new MOS before you go to training for it. If you need to reenlist to go to the training and choose not to, HRC may pick a new MOS like 88M and return you to the same duty station. Or HRC may decide to simply take away your new MOS code and give you a new MOS code of 09U and an ETS date of 270 days away, as per the counseling you signed.

I believe you can put the rank on when your orders say the effective date of your promotion is. Regardless of weather you have a pinning ceremony or not. Otherwise you would be out of uniform.

Just questioned it because I’m currently going through MAR2 and they haven’t gave me a new job yet
