SPC Private RallyPoint Member 5786808 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have recently reenlisted for Hawaii and my report date is October of 2020. For background info, I am currently in Germany for a rotation and won&#39;t be back until mid July. I wanted to ask if I can push my orders back so I can have more time to get my personal stuff together and have time to decompress. I know, stupid on my part for not thinking this through. Thank you in advance. Can I push my report date further than what I initially signed for? 2020-04-17T14:40:59-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 5786808 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have recently reenlisted for Hawaii and my report date is October of 2020. That is plenty of time and if you ask for more, expect some tough and/or deep questions why that is not enough time. Please do not answer them here, it is your business but be prepared for those that can make such a change to ask. If you get back in July, you have plenty of time to ship HHG and POV. HRC is not going to push your report date to allow you to decompress. You’re in the army, get over it Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 17 at 2020 4:12 PM 2020-04-17T16:12:24-04:00 2020-04-17T16:12:24-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 5787786 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I came back from a deployment in October and PCSed to Hawaii in January. It really isn’t as bad unless you have dogs. I see you’re not married so there won’t be much to do at all. What I will say is make sure you have everything squared away to clear. They’ll give you ten days but you can realistically do it in 4. I would however Prioritize arranging to ship your car and HHG. Also have your gear clean and ready to turn in before you even get clearing papers (as long as your not using it for training). If you have any questions about the move I’ll help as best as I can.
