Can I re-enlist after being chaptered for PT failure (RE code is 3)?

I received my chapter during ait I was able to keep my security clearance and was awarded my mos.

Best bet would be to talk to a recruiter. I am not sure what the waiver process entails.

You will need a waiver, to say the least. Talk to your nearest Recruiter. Based on what Chapt 13 is used for, I say good luck.

A buddy of mines from AIT had the same exact discharge and was basically in the same situation with you and he just enlisted back into the Army. So I’d say your chances should be pretty decent.

Hello, PVT Hedgeman, You can reenlist ,but you will have to wait 90 days to reenlist as well. Also, it is based of your separation code as well. Hopefully, you will learn from your past and do better. Best of luck to you and Happy Veteran Day.
