One recruiter told me the same regarding being off the Med, except he said “...12 months.” So, is it safe to say that waivers are never given in my situation? Is the reason due to the actual diagnosis- adhd, or is it due to the [possible] dependence on the rx medication, itself? Meds for ADHD are still classified as Schedule Two controlled agents and are prone to abuse. Over time, they produce serious side-effects and some adverse events. This may work against your planned re-enlistment depending on your particular MOS. As a civilian, they are irrelevant to your clinical performance.<br />Best to you and inform us of your outcome.
