Can I reclass from 14E to 19K at the end of my first contract ?

I am trying to reclass from 14E to 19k this is my first contract and im up for re-enlistment in a few months does anyone know if I’ll be able to do this I am a PFC and desperately trying to get out of this mos is there any way this is possible and if not is there some other way ?

You don't have to wait till the end of your contract to reclass. You're asking to go from an under strength MOS to another under strength MOS which is not allowed. But you can request an option exception once you're in your reenlistment window.

Contact your Reenlistment NCO they can Help you with that if they need tankers worse than than Patriot operators.

Well, reenlistment would be the best time to ask for that because in that moment you're holding all the cards and at any other time you'd have to pester a lot of lazy bureaucrats. You'll have to stay on top of it, but it's very possible. Just saying.

Yes please be a tanker. In 2014 we were lucky to run half a plt, we coukdnt keep new joes in if we tried. And for that i blame the toxic environment we were in. Wish you best of luck.

While re-enlisting as pfc is an option, if you make e4 before reup you will have a better chance of getting what you want.
