With that said my GT score is not high enough. But according to the DA pam my CL score meets requirements. Also when I looked into it . It stated anyone "enlisting " into the MOS after september 2015 must have 100 GT. I'm not enlisting , I am reclassing ? I have the CL score good to go. Anyone have any thoughts on this ? Regardless, you need to speak with your Career Counselor about this. Also, there is a course you can take to raise your GT.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 29 at 2023 7:31 AM2023-11-29T07:31:02-05:002023-11-29T07:31:02-05:00SGM Private RallyPoint Member8569445

We are in the process of investigating an AGR who did just what you are suggesting; reclassing to 42A without the requisite GT score. It will not end well for that AGR.

That said, in any state there are more AGR jobs in 92Y than 42A.
But 92Y and 42A typically combine to make up a third of all enlisted AGR jobs in a state. If you are an AGR with two MOSes, those are the two to have.
There is a BSEP course at NG PEC for raising your line scores. AD posts also offer the course if there is one near you, and you can just use self-study to increase your score.Response by SGM Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 29 at 2023 7:56 AM2023-11-29T07:56:46-05:002023-11-29T07:56:46-05:00SSG Laurie Mullen8569809

As SGM McCloud has said, your best bet is to raise your GT score.
