Can I rejoin either the Army or Air Force? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-i-rejoin-either-the-army-or-air-force <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was in the army for 22 months i have an re-3 code, was honorable discharged, and I have been out for 3 years. I miss the service and want to go back. The Air Force classifies me as previous service and not prior service, but i want to go back into Army aviation. If not then ill join the Air Force. Unfortunately my mos, 15j, is no longer in service I don&#39;t mind going back to basic or retraining to another mos, but can I? It’s not impossible you have to talk to a recruiter and see what they say. My MOS was 89D back in 2012 and in 2015 i got the MOS is now 15R. Hope you make it SGT Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 02 Apr 2018 22:03:43 -0400 2018-04-02T22:03:43-04:00 Response by SGT Eric Davis made Apr 2 at 2018 10:55 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-i-rejoin-either-the-army-or-air-force?n=3507306&urlhash=3507306 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You can join but it will take some time for a waiver and I just got back in with an Recode 3 in February. What state you in?<br /><br />Also you got a honorable so it should be easy unless you got medical reasons! Your separation code is what they’re goin to look at. See a recruiter to find out your options. Keep us posted on the outcome. Good luck.
