I had already moved out of the barracks into an apartment with a 1 year lease. Can I still receive BAH after having stillborn baby at 31 weeks? 2018-12-12T18:53:56-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 4203481

Can I still receive Bah after a stillbirth at 31 weeks. That being said, you can talk to your chain of command and see about an Exception to Policy Memorandum that will allow you to have single rate BAH because you have gone and gotten a place. They do have the ability to have a memo written that can get your lease broken though too.
I was divorced (predictably so) when I was a young PFC (who has ever heard of that?!). I had a fully furnished apartment and so instead of making me store everything and move into the billets again my command allowed me to stay off post. It helped that I was also a good soldier.
I wish you luck. If E4s are required to live in the barracks, you can get out of your lease with a command letter.
