That being said, you can talk to your chain of command and see about an Exception to Policy Memorandum that will allow you to have single rate BAH because you have gone and gotten a place. They do have the ability to have a memo written that can get your lease broken though too.<br />I was divorced (predictably so) when I was a young PFC (who has ever heard of that?!). I had a fully furnished apartment and so instead of making me store everything and move into the billets again my command allowed me to stay off post. It helped that I was also a good soldier.<br />I wish you luck.
