Make your recruiter work for it! 2LT Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 25 Mar 2019 20:11:16 -0400 2019-03-25T20:11:16-04:00 Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 25 at 2019 10:09 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-i-still-service-in-the-guard-while-getting-va-disability-rating?n=4484676&urlhash=4484676 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You can, but the VA compensation will not be paid during periods you receive military pay.<br />Typically, this is 63 days per year (48 UTAs and 15 AT). 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 25 Mar 2019 22:09:04 -0400 2019-03-25T22:09:04-04:00 Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 25 at 2019 11:12 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-i-still-service-in-the-guard-while-getting-va-disability-rating?n=4484771&urlhash=4484771 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Before I Dane back active duty I was National Guard and was receiving VA Disability. As long as you are not full-time AGR, you will still receive your disability payments. Good luck to you... I have a 60% rating and still serving. I believe 70% is the upper limit, but I don&#39;t know for sure. Depending on your rating, you will probably receive either reduced pay (compensated by your rating) or no pay due to rating (i.e., 100% VA). I knew several Soldiers that were drilling for points because their VA rating was high enough that they couldn&#39;t receive pay.
