Can I still work Security Forces in the Air Force with only one kidney?

I've already been told that I won't be able to enlist in the Air Force with only one kidney, but I asked that under the pretense of being a deployed airmen and actually fighting in the skies.
But what about enlisting and choosing to work security at bases? I've heard that starting security jobs are just standing at a post and doing nothing. My one kidney can't possibly impede that. Would MEPS be a lot more lenient on one kidney and waive it since it's a non-combat position?

You have only one kidney. You were disqualified based off of medical reasoning. No branch will take you for having only one kidney. There is no IFs, ANDs, or BUTs about it. I applaud your eagerness to serve, but your medical condition excludes you from doing so.

Security or other forms of law enforcement in the military do a lot more than stand at a post and do nothing.

Security Forces are combat ready troops. You were told wrong. You would be even unlikely to pass the initial training which is for counter-insurgence

Thank you for beating me to this, SSgt Carter. I was formulating a lengthy response until I saw yours. I did SF for most of my AF career, and we certainly didn't just sit around and do nothing. You're right. We were combat ready and capable.

Yeah...agreed. Security Forces of old or new didn’t sit around much. Wing tip to wing tip, blast fence to nose. I don’t remember sitting around. Air base ground defense.
