Can I switch from 88m to 31b withing my first contract??

I am currently a 88m and I hate it the mos has nothing to offer. I wanna be a civilian police officer after the army.So I was seeing if I can reclass from 88m to 31b within my first contract..Any suggestions...PLEASE HELP!

Check with your command ask to be reclassified if your in a bonus MOs you may not be able

If your a military police it will help you to a point but if you apply for the uniform division of the Secret Service it helps alot

Being an MP does not help you become a police officer more than any MOS would. Just like Being an 88M does not help you become a truck driver. Being in the military at all is what helps you.

Just get out and become a civilian police officer. Being a Vet is going to get your foot in the door regardless of MOS. Orlando PD has recruiting trucks that literally say they are hiring Vets on them
