I was wondering if i can do the same 368 process and return to the Guard so long as all requisites are met? I&#39;m 6 months into my 3 year contract. I spoke to the Iowa recruiting department and they said that Active Duty will not release me using the same 368 process, but I keep hearing and seeing otherwise. Can I transfer from Active Army to National Guard mid-contract? 2018-04-30T18:42:24-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 3589980 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I transferred from the National Guard to Active Duty. I would identify the underlying issue and work on it. Someone from my battery did the same thing. Getting a failure to adjust discharge. But you can see if you can switch units. Look at other assignments, even short term remotes will get you out of bad situation and help your career. There are ways to fix a bad unit without leaving the service.
