Can I transfer from the army to the air force? 2022-02-28T19:55:33-05:00 2022-02-28T19:55:33-05:00 SGM Private RallyPoint Member 7549100 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There is no interservice transfer for enlisted.<br />You can join the Air Force when you ETS, or you can try to get out early to do so.<br />The Air Force does not have a program where it keeps you on payroll while doing ROTC.<br />Air Force enlisted can complete for ROTC scholarships, then go to the Air Force Reserve while in ROTC.<br />The closest AFSC to your MOS is actually the one that 35 series goes to Goodfellow AFB for.<br /><br />If you want an active duty paycheck while in ROTC, stay in the Army. Your best chance would be Air Guard or Reserve. But first and foremost is finishing your first enlistment.
