Whether it be garrison or field uniform, the PC is separate from the top blouse/combat shirt. <br /><br />For an ACU top, if you sew on the rank, your nametapes need to be Sewn on too. However, that doesn&#39;t apply to your PC; your PC can still be pin on rank and velcro nametape. Probably why I spot a ton of nasty basal cell carcinoma on the ears and on the backs of neck in the VA. <br /><br />Makes no sense not to allow the boonie to be worn in extreme sun and heat.
