Ask your Drill Sgt when you arrive to AIT, if they say yes call your unit and have them send you patches.Response by Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 24 at 2019 7:48 PM2019-11-24T19:48:58-05:002019-11-24T19:48:58-05:00PFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member5271954<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not sure why ypu would want to wear your unit patch in AIT when they may most likely designate the U.S. ARMY patch on you but ask your drill sergeant. It's a rare chance but not impossible.Response by PFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 24 at 2019 7:50 PM2019-11-24T19:50:20-05:002019-11-24T19:50:20-05:00CSM Danny S.5277495<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You should wear the patch of the unit you are assigned to. Then are you going to Active Duty AIT or to a National Guard RTI for MOSQ? At a National Guard RTI you wear your unit patch. If you are going to Active Duty AIT they may have a policy that has you wear the US Army patch. Check with the cadre when you arrive.Response by CSM Danny S. made Nov 26 at 2019 8:54 AM2019-11-26T08:54:28-05:002019-11-26T08:54:28-05:00SGT George Stephens5285031<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Depends on the AIT and if you're still RSP or not. <br /><br />If you've battle handed off then wear your unit patch to signify you're with a unit but also expect out of yourself as well. That said, don't show off either. <br /><br />Go in knowing the basics but also open minded to learn.Response by SGT George Stephens made Nov 28 at 2019 8:53 AM2019-11-28T08:53:58-05:002019-11-28T08:53:58-05:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member5285044<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You can't wear your state's patch if your unit wears something different as the state's patch isn't your unit patch.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 28 at 2019 9:00 AM2019-11-28T09:00:57-05:002019-11-28T09:00:57-05:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member5420831<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I was 68W school they let us but no one had the actual balls to do that. However, If you are assigned to the REP 63 replacement company, then you might have to wear the Hornet's nest patch. If I were in your position I would wear the 130 ATK BN patch. It's much coolers then the Hornet's nest. Hell's Guard!Response by LTC Ken Bowers made Jan 24 at 2020 12:48 PM2020-01-24T12:48:44-05:002020-01-24T12:48:44-05:002019-11-24T19:46:42-05:00
