Can Mpf put you in an assignment availability code 9 if you never filled out an AF Form 964? When does this code expire?

I failed my weapons qualification for my pcs assignment. I'm trying to put in for my BOP and it says I'm in assignment availability code 09.

SrA Private RallyPoint Member, I've been out of the game for awhile so I don't know how that works, but I would fix the weapons qual deficiency ASAP. Go downtown to a gun range and rent an AR or M-9 (not sure which one you failed on). I always got expert so I can't relate to the problem but if you practice the fundamentals they teach you should have no problems. If you were stationed close to an area that has weapons rentals you could get over the unfamiliarity in a weekend.
