Can my command take my terminal leave if I become flagged after my leave has already been submitted and approved weeks in advance?

So I am in school and I don’t feel very confident in the pt test I’m going to take when I get back April 6th. My terminal leave is set for April 28th and has been submitted and approved for weeks now. If I become flagged from my pt test I don’t feel comfortable taking, will my command take my terminal leave away from me?

Can the Commander? Yes. Can your PSG, 1SG, no.

Should they is another issue entirely. Regulations give commanders a wide range of authority.

Yes, a commander can cancel any kind of approved leave, regardless of how long it's been approved, you can find that answer on a thousand threads here as well as AR 600–8–10.
That said, the Army has just postponed all APFT and ACFT until further notice.

Command is a funny thing. I learned there are many things I could do, but a far smaller set of things I should do. Best and clearest path is to think of it as a business and make business decisions. Since we're not in the profit game, I'd do things to enhance morale, take care of my people, get the mission done easier, and not tempt the snarly dragons above needlessly unless they were giving me mission without force protection. That said, if there isn't a benefit to the above, why rock the boat? Easiest path is 3 weeks and a goner is gone. I wouldn't have the SEL barking at me about it because he/she would be on the same page. The SEL question downline would be why? If there isn't a reason that would help make the Command better, he'd trim some lawn if petulance, revenge, or other negative aspect was driving it. If it was an officer, the SEL would que the XO. I'd hear about those every now and then over a routine beer with my Command Staff. Usual response on my part? Gee Master, I was wondering why you were cleaning your boots. That said, results do vary. There are some Skippers that do things because they can. Hated those egoREMFs. What happens to you over the next month is a telltale on the leadership effectiveness. Keep your head down and focus on the prize.

Can your commander do it? Most definitely. But timing is everything and I believe (don't hold your breath) you wont have to take it. Here's why:
1. Very few commanders have Soldier who are just about to exit do PT nor an APFT after completing their final medical evaluation. They still can do it but most just don't risk a potential injury.
2. I believe DA just stop all collective training (incliding PT and APFTs) due to COVID-19.
3. Back to #2, you have other more important things to worry about than an APFT.

Still, not an excuse. you ought to be able to pass an APFT and Heigh/Weight at all times.

terminal leave implies you are ETSing. To be perfectly blunt.....I seriously doubt your command gives a rat's ass whether you pass a PT test at this point. They are not going to waste the time going through the flagging process for a soldier that is getting out in a month.

Yes. Leave is the Commander's prerogative. If you're flagged, you can't ETS anyway.

Leave is something you earned, it’s not something given, you can only be denied pass, awards, and promotion if flagged.
I’m a little behind here, but we had a SOP, that if you are clearing you are exempt from duty and formation, and any PT test,

Why would they want you to take a PT test and you are leaving the military? exit leave Is yours,

Are you even sure that you still have valid ETS orders. There is a Stop Loss order in effect- nobody is PCSing, and your ETS may be dead to/
