Have you spoken with your medical provider to see if they will be initiating a Med Board? Have you spoken with Retention to see what happens when this kind of situation comes up? They're the SMEs. Ask them.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 29 at 2021 7:28 PM2021-08-29T19:28:40-04:002021-08-29T19:28:40-04:00SSgt Christophe Murphy7230008<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is a conversation to have with medical. Were you sent or recommended to I think its PEB to be sent to MEB. Your NCO over you can recommend you for one. I may be wrong. I know other hear have more experience in this.Response by PV2 Tommy Smith made Aug 31 at 2021 1:30 AM2021-08-31T01:30:31-04:002021-08-31T01:30:31-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member7231426<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The PEB will not even enter you into the MEB if you have less than 90 days to ETS. Once you're in the MEB, you can be extended to finish it.<br />I would advise that you just go extend a year now. You don't know how long it will take to get from where you are now to the start of a med board. You still have to be treated, go through treatment, then get a permant profile, before your MEB can start. That can be six months to a year.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 31 at 2021 1:45 AM2021-08-31T01:45:12-04:002021-08-31T01:45:12-04:002021-08-29T18:59:31-04:00
