<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As long as your orders state that you have dependents, you may do so. If your orders do not show that, they will need to be amended. Speak with your OLT sergeatn and they will take care of the rest. When I went through, I stayed at the barracks for the first three months to prove I was going to make it through the entire course.SSG Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 07 May 2018 00:43:00 -04002018-05-07T00:43:00-04:00Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made May 7 at 2018 12:43 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It is not often that the military moves Families to the AIT site as there are too many variables. It cannot hurt to ask, contact the base housing office at the location of your training, they will know th policy for that facility. Thank you for your service.CSM Darieus ZaGaraMon, 07 May 2018 15:54:03 -04002018-05-07T15:54:03-04:00Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made May 8 at 2018 8:49 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It’s a slim chance that they will allow that because in TRADOC you’re not allowed to do a lot of things and by having your family there it could encourage things that they don’t want to partakeSPC Private RallyPoint MemberTue, 08 May 2018 20:49:03 -04002018-05-08T20:49:03-04:00Response by MSG Robert Ford made May 12 at 2018 12:04 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes you will be able to have them come once you meet a certain time requirement as IET soldier... then you will be able to have you family come to join you... It will be very tough for you with family and that course I can tell you that... I was senior instructor at that school and seen many marriage struggle because of the school and family issues....MSG Robert FordSat, 12 May 2018 12:04:14 -04002018-05-12T12:04:14-04:00Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made May 12 at 2018 9:46 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Depending on your chain of command, it is possible to have your family move with you. I know as far as a 25S, our company has quite a few people that live on post with their family. Some have their family moved in before they even Phase to V+. They still live in the barracks until they do phase and get their housing packet signed by the commander and 1SG.<br /><br />I'd say it's likely depending on your MOS but don't count 100% on it as your chain of command may not approve. It may also be pertinent to know if the post your AIT is located has on post housing.SPC Private RallyPoint MemberSat, 12 May 2018 21:46:28 -04002018-05-12T21:46:28-04:00Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made May 16 at 2018 3:35 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I recently graduated from the school house. I was prior service but I'll give you the run down as I understand it for iet soldiers. Yes you can move your dependents as a part of a Pcs move. <br />Understand that you will not be allowed to live off post with them until you are phase 5+ which will take you a few months, a passing PT test, no test score below 70, and a board in dress uniform. Until then you can visit them after school hours but you will sleep in the barracks and be back before bedcheck. If you lose your phase you may be forced to move back into the barracks, understand it's a privilege not a right. <br />Best of luckSPC Private RallyPoint MemberWed, 16 May 2018 03:35:11 -04002018-05-16T03:35:11-04:002018-05-07T00:22:19-04:00
