So there is no regulatory reason you MUST be stationed together.
But understand, your calling to change PCS orders and that "ask" has the same weight as any other junior NCO asking who has already been assigned a new duty location, meaning that branch manager has seen a need, and filled it with YOU..and you agreed. Your now going to call and ask for him to find a new need.. Understand its going to be a BIGGER need for them to get filled, and may or may not be a better assignment for you.
So submit the 4187 to exit the MFC program.
Send that electronically to your branch manager (or be ready to) and ask How they can help? What other assignment of a critical nature do you have open to slot me in? Make it clear there is something in it for them. It never hurts to try, and worst case you offer to take a hardship assignment that your branch needs to fill (Korea, Individual Augmentee deployed, etc.) LTC Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 07 Sep 2017 05:27:50 -0400 2017-09-07T05:27:50-04:00 2017-09-02T04:39:32-04:00
