You are only motionless on guard duty if you don&#39;t move. If there is a duty day restriction in the soldier&#39;s profile (no more than 8 hours as an example) then that is where the duty Day would start. <br /><br />If your profile has the other stipulations you mention, you need to point that out as every pregnancy is different. The leadership is going to continue To assign soldiers to,duties and training to the maximum extent whether it is pregnancy or a bad back. It is imperative that there is two way communication between the pregnant soldier and the chain of command and the NCO support channel. Especially as the pregnancy unfolds and medical conditions change. At all? <br /><br />A work around to the nausea, easy exhaustion or sudden lightheadedness is to have the SM occupy a chair when conducting road guard duties. <br /><br />Not trying to be an ass, but simply put in perspective that Commanders can easily honor/follow the limits of the profile and still accomplish mission with available Soldiers with some creative thinking. Yes. <br /><br />But if you’re having issues with your health, then make sure you keep communication open with your chain of command.
