I would highly recommend you call your AIT school house to see if it is authorized. You will be considered a MOS-T Soldier. You will be housed in a different location than the AIT Students so you would need transportation to get to the other side where the AIT Soldiers are housed for morning formations. The problem you will have is getting to Fort Gordon by midnight of your report date because they don’t cut orders in advance, and the report date will be the same date of the orders. So hopefully for you you’re closer to Augusta, GA so you can arrive by midnight. I hope this helps, good luck to you....
