Usually we were sitting at 15 points and then just straight up to max. When I looked up the trend report, it all seemed kinda of confusing for someone looking at it the first time. How can you use the trend report to "Predict" an estimate on how points might come out next month? Can someone explain the Trend Report to me?2019-03-11T13:24:32-04:00SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member4439065<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have looked into the trending report as my MOS has maxed out for the first time since it came to be. With the Trend Report, you have to do the calculations...Doesn't really help my MOS since we went from 15 for a couple years in a row to 798...<br /><br />But if anyone wants to know. Look at the Average for your Promotion Rank in PZ or SZ and multiple by 6. Then subtract the points of the previous 5 monthsResponse by SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 11 at 2019 2:11 PM2019-03-11T14:11:24-04:002019-03-11T14:11:24-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member4441461<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>14G to SSG promotion has an average of 416 points. Their are 6 promotable on the list. 2 have between 550-599 points, 1 has between 500-549 points, 2 have between 250-299 points, 1 has between 200-249 points. So depending on how many SSG slots are available they will work from the top down with the 2 people in the 550-599 range. If they promote 1 the cutoff score will be however many points that 1 person had and so on and so forth. Hard to predict if their are slots open or not, it will either be 798 for the month with 0 promotions or whoever had the highest promotion points for the slotting required that will be the cutoff score. Hopefully that helps answer your question.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 12 at 2019 9:48 AM2019-03-12T09:48:04-04:002019-03-12T09:48:04-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member4443281<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The US Army promote soldier by strength contain; is an Army term used to accommodate soldiers with highest points in the system into those slaps let by Soldiers that ets, got promoved to higer ranks etc. Its hard to predict that, however you can look at senior promotions, if 3 SFC got promote, then you will know that there's gonna be at least 3 E6 positions open soon, also look at the in and out calls to have an idea if your mos is not lock to in; wich is good; that means that the Army needs more Soldiers to fill slaps. Hope it helps, good luck.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 12 at 2019 7:58 PM2019-03-12T19:58:16-04:002019-03-12T19:58:16-04:00CW4 Craig Urban4445273<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your mos is overstretched.
