I know in AR 670-1 and DA Pam 670 it states APFU has to be 100% nylon, but what about company made PT Gear "authorized" for PT use? Is there a regulation for this? I am connecting with our Civilian Lethal Gear guy who would like suggestions for new items but i need to make sure they are in regulation with Army standards and general guidelines. If i am going to put effort into company morale I need to make sure my plan will stick when it rolls out for use, and IS authorized. Also really good information to have handy. TIA

If you are leaving the US Army, why not go quietly?

MSG (Join to see) Old Brown Shoe Army attitude or simply an ‘older fart’ attitude?

CSM Charles Hayden - I sure as shit ain't gonna call you an old fart. That would be ill-advised. Especially with your pedigree.

MSG (Join to see) I won’t jump and can’t run! Actually, I cannot ‘DROP’ either, I have executed too many Drops in the past. As my young son tells me, aren’t you glad to be a has-been rather than a never-was?

Don’t over think it.
1) Default to a 100% nylon solution if you can.
2) This moral boosting company level shirt is only going to be allowed with company level activities. So if the 1SG and Company CO are good with it then that’s that.

There is no regulation for this but I would recommend a breathable material. Also from my experience don’t get the cheap press for whatever logo will be on the back of your shirt. It will get hot and press against your skin and that feels terrible.
