And can't seem to tape in! While 3 lbs is much easier then 11 and she's wanting to join and ship out Immediately.

What does she have to do? I know it's very rude since he literally has everything ready for her to.go to meps but they won't send her until she tapes or weighs!

She confirms her asvab score Jan 6th. She took a piCaT test I guess it's called. Score was a 35 with a gt score of 96 I think. Can someone switch branches prior to enlisting? What would someone have to do? 2019-12-26T20:56:08-05:00 Harry Kummers 5383966

The army has all of her information but she wants to switch branches And go airforce instead.
Reason being is the army wants her to weight 137 and she's 148. Based on what you stated, she is not contracted therefore not committed. She just need to contact the other service’s recruiter and take it from there. However, based what you stated, her ASVAB’s AFQT is 35 on a pretest and it tends to slightly sip on the real test; although there are exceptions. Best of lucks on her future endeavors! The AF has similar weight restrictions. Actually they are stricter because their Physical fitness test uses a waist measurement. The Army uses a Body Fat measurement tape test to measure body fat that is much more forgiving than the AF test. I truly feel the Army has better options, if you know how to navigate them. However, she is free to go talk to an AF recruiter and that AF recruiter is responsible for doing some paperwork. And she has not even confirmed her scores yet, so there is no valid score in the system. Good luck.
