Veterans who are eligible and want to take advantage of in-person expanded Commissary, Military Service Exchange and MWR access Jan. 1 must have a VHIC.

Yes, if your VAHID says, "Service Related" on it. I do it now.

I was just at the commissary ay Patrick Air Force base and the cashier told me your VAHID had to read "Service Connected".
