I was on the USS America and served in The Engineering Department/Electrical Division. I was a Flight Deck Electrician.

That deployment fell off of my ERB because of my most recent trip to Afghanistan. it seems like only yesterday we were there.

I know, right? And I wish we'd gotten the PUC for it. I remember seeing them in a storage space near the ship's store and I remember how ragged the edges of those ribbons looked. These are Navy PUCs I'm talking about.
